The VisasFriends photo tool now ships with presets for the six most-requested visa photo formats: US 2x2 inch, Schengen 35x45 mm, UK, Canada, India, and China.
Everything runs in the browser. Your images never leave your device — there's no server upload, no account, and no cost. Background removal uses an on-device WebAssembly model.
Why local processing matters
- Privacy. Passport-style photos often include faces and identifying metadata. Keeping them local removes one entire category of risk.
- Speed. No round trip to a server means edits feel instant.
- No login. You can prepare a photo and download it without creating an account.
